We all new the risk he was taking but never thought this outcome was possible i will dearly miss his quirky smile and his ability to cheer me up from any situation he was great with my kids and my heart sank when he lost his. it was hard not to have a good time with Tyler, though leave always seemed to short , whether we were shooting squirrels or keeping me up till 3 in the morning playing video games. He would always have this smile on his face in class like he was about to do something he souldnt but in the end would only make everyone laugh. If you needed a hug he was always willing to be that guy. His humor, big heart, and contagious smile are what I will always remember the most about him. Tyler was outgoing and always willing to have fun. He has done our country a great service and fought for the people he loved. You used to drive me crazy cause you could never sit still or stop talking so I could do my work. But I enjoyed every second of it. I don't think there was ever a time you didn't have a smile on your face or weren't enjoying life to the fullest. You called everyone not that long ago excited about how you would be coming home soon and spoke of the things we would do while you were home. It breaks my heart that those things will never happen. My heart goes out to all his friends and family, especially his sweet sister Tayler. I don't think there was ever a brother loved more by his sister than Tyler was. Tyler and my son, James, both left Redding together to tackle Boot Camp. They both succeeded in serving our Country together.
