Pancake Breakfast in the morning, and this year, special awards for best Rat Rod, Military and Convertibles. We will present Dr. Joel Fuhrman’s lecture entitled “We Can Win the War on Cancer Right Now,” during which he will show the results from scientific studies documenting the facts that this is true. Dr. Fuhrman is a world renown Physician, Author and Speaker who will show new findings from scientific literature.     The seventh annual A Taste of History fundraiser and auction benefiting the Shasta Historical Society will be held Thursday, May 23, 2019, at Shasta State Historic Park. A Taste of History is the Society’s annual dinner, fundraiser, and social event. This year “A Taste of History” will offer our guests an evening that they may not soon forget, with historic local characters, leaders and legends making an appearance. Set in beautiful Shasta State Historic Park, one of the most picturesque and historic parts of Shasta County, the evening is filled with fiddle music, food, wine, and beer.
